Saturday, September 21st, 2024. Legacy Trips Presents...The Open Book Writer's Retreat. It was a magnificent day.
We began our time connecting in community.
We were surrounded by lush greens, tempting gardens and the periodic sounds of chickens clucking.
We grounded ourselves in our writing seasons (courtesy of Jami Attenberg’s 1,000 Words).
We were nourished with delicious and life-giving food.
We spent introspective time with our writing and words, making progress on our own individual writing projects.
We came back together to share, to cry, to witness and to hold space for one another.
We honored each other: our intentions, our stories, our words.
